The Predator is flown from a trailer on the ground. The pilot looks at a remote image transmitted from cameras on the front. They can swivel the camera, but they say it's like flying while looking through a straw.
This one is a border patrol model used on our borders with Mexico and Canada. The advantage? They fly forever. The pilots can go home when another pilot takes over. If something hits them, no-one dies. Unless that something is a manned aircraft, so watch out for predators when you're flying around out there.
In countries where we're at war these carry dangerous things like bombs and missles. The trailer is in the background of the picture.
