With the tank out, here's a good view of the back of the instrument panel. The big silver instrument at the top is the rpm, cable removed. You can see the lines for the fuel flow and oil pressure bent out of the way to the left. The clear tubing is the pitot and static tubing connected to the altimeter and airspeed. The tube crossing right to left goes to the altitude encoder of the transponder. The grey cable is the data cable coming back from the altitude encoder for the transponder on the other side. The hole on the left side by the cabane strut held the engine oil temperature and pressure gauge that we removed for servicing. Underneath the panel you can see the control stick, the lap strap of the harness on the seat, and the elevator trim control in the left hand side of the cockpit.
